How is Obama up by 55 EC electors? I was not aware that any electors have been awarded yet. In every other presidential election in US history the electors were awarded AFTER the election.

The swing to Romney does seem to be continuing. It will probably accelerate toward the end of the week but we still have to see what Obama has planned for the October surprise. Maybe we will find out that Romney was actually born in Kenya!
