Was there ever a poll with regard to how the site was liked? I liked the newer one a lot better, way better...
The look/feel was a lot friendlier. The Avatars put a face on posters.. the like function was great, it gave me a feel for what other posters were thinking in relation to a post.. It's not useful now but I was getting busy making an Avatar out of a screen shot of my charts.. it would tell people where I'm coming from when discussing trading. As it stands, somebody posts something and we all have to guess what their timeframe is, how they do things, etc..

I felt like I was in a little prefigured box
good for me, because I post too much, mostly just bullshit
and I thought, "Here now, this is a good excuse to just get out of the internet posting business."
when I'm not trading, I am usually cooking, and there are all kinds of cooking sites set up just like the new ET was, and I occasionaly read them, but I never post and want to get into it with somebody else's untested idea that they are just perpetuating because they heard it from somebody else.
the old et you know who you are talking to and you can stretch out and over time devolope a dialog and a realtionship, either hate or love.
at anyrate, I post too much bullshit, and the way to cure that is to go to the new format
I did notice as soon as they went to a familiar format, a lot of posters I never heard of started posting, apparently because they felt comfortable in a format they were already use to on so many other sites
but that is really not a sign of an Elite Trader is it?
I never heard so many traders worried about their IRA
