the EU may be on a verge of a collapse for many reasons. . I suggested that it might be a tipping point. nothing else
by the way how different is Italy or Spain?

They passed laws simplifying the labor code and are nowadays more progressive than France.

A country controlled by thuggish labor unions that will take the whole country down with them.

End of school year around here, some french families were supposed to head home this week end but Air france pilots are on strike again and flights are cancelled. For the beginning of the eurochampionship when flights to France are most likely fully booked.
When it's not the pilots, it might be flight attendants or ground staff, I lost count how many times I witnessed first hand or heard of flight disruptions in France on heavily booked dates.
Last year some unionised workers physically attacked a couple of Air France executives (pictures of an executive fleeing his clothes torn to rags by demonstrators that forced their way to the meeting area were seen all over the world)
Air France fired for fault a few of the workers involved, but sure enough the labour court reversed the decision.
Shameful country in many ways.

Have you not already "suggested" that tipping point to be there 3 or 4 years ago? Sounds like a case of busting an account and constantly reloading it. When will you announce the final and ultimate nail in the coffin? Will the EU be done if the UK leaves?

a cursory read of your past posts makes this stance of yours apparently clear. Too bad that a view is simply not gonna cut it to make money, timing also matters. You have made it pretty clear that you saw the EU fail in every crisis of the past 10 years. I hope you did not put money on the line on your views

No doubt in my mind a Brexit will finish the EU off.

The UK is the 2nd largest economy in the EU. We are the second biggest contributor of money into the EU. In the event of a brexit, I wonder where they will find the money to replace our money. Perhaps Draghi can print some up.

It's the French, 'nuff said. A country controlled by thuggish labor unions that will take the whole country down with them.

Well, they were invaded by the germans in the 1940's, and were very effective at keeping things together behind closed doors.

A good time to look at options on the EUR.USD and GBP.USD - who gives a damn what happens, as if it brings huge volatility it can only be a good thing!
