Biden klutzing around with some executive orders to assuage the lefterroids on abortion.

Looks weak even though he is trying to get a quick buzz out of it. Not really much that he can do other than some side-show stuff.

He needs to be careful. The lefties are pissed enough to smell the ruse here and lash out at him for not being able to do anything. YA THINK?

He is in that same bind on gas. He has his underlings come out and push back on the press by saying that Joe is is doing everything they can. Not really satisfactory.

Biden was a complete idiot today. No surprise there.

He purposely misconstrued and misstated the Roe decision for political purposes probably being an idiot was a factor as well.

He rattles on at length about how the court greatly underestimates the voting power of women and that women and men will rise up and vote and that they can fight back at the ballot box and and take that power back from the unjust, out-of-touch, Supreme Court. He ends by saying that he "accepts that challenge."

Complete idiot. That is pretty much what the Court asked the people to do rather than to dump on to Robed-Ones, and the court - unlike the lefties- was at the forefront of saying that the people could and should decide. Yeh, so you go do that Joe. You accept that challenge. As the saying goes: "Nothing like lack of choice to help a person focus their mind."

However, I am not as sure as Joe that the court intended for that legislative power to reside with Congress rather than the states. Actually, the left does not believe it either- they just do not know it yet. The current effort to get a national law to codify Roe will go nowhere. Not enough votes. Filibuster, etc. And then the states will continue to ban or enact as they wish but nevertheless there will be plenty of abortion going on, even if you have to ride the Planned Parenthood van over to the next state for your quarterly abortion. THEN, 2024 comes along, and Trump, DeSantis, Tom Cotton, Pompeo, - examples- come along and get elected and take the house and senate. THEN, one of them starts promoting the idea that we will be having a national BAN on abortion because Congress and the Pres have the power to do that.

Yeh, guess who will be arguing then that the court intended for that issue to reside with the states?

The left failed this exact challenge in 2016 when the possibility was presented and Obama's nominee was delayed until after the election. I dont see them achieving an y Pink Wave in 2022 and 2024...
