He gave a great speech. Let's not forget that Palin gave a couple good speeches too. Barrack Hussain Obama gives a great speech. Fact is, it ain't that hard to do. If you're comfortable with public speaking, passionate, have some of the performance artist in you, and have professional writers putting the words together for you...it all comes out good.
So we can say the audition went well. Remains to be seen if there's any substance.
And before anyone goes there, yes I have done public speaking to quite large audiences on occasion. Like I said, if you're comfortable on a stage and passionate about the subject matter, it ain't all that much.
