i met lou reed in the bronx when i was a kid in a deli. signed my jacket. he said i should listen to velvet underground's rock and roll. never listened to music except for the beatles cos some kid brought over his record collection during my 8th birthday and that was before john died, and i remember all the kids in my grade saying the beatles suck. john died, and michael jackson bought their recordings.
