Yes, most do. And most also charge commissions, so the percent of their revenue that they get from order flow is smaller than Robinhood, which doesn't charge commissions and thus obtains a mathematically larger percentage of their total revenue through payment for order flow. Even if they receive exactly the same or even less revenue on a dollar/share basis as other brokers. The hyperbolic headline is meant to exploit a kind of a blind spot human brains seem to have for percentages and what they actually represent.
So if you are a passive investor you don't mind poor execution ? If you are using a standing limit order you are are going to get picked off...no matter what broker you are using. BUT, RH encourages this use, better flow to sell.
No, im saying you should have been filled at a better price. You got picked off. Not always but often....if you search this topic it was explained previously by others much better than I can. Btw...2 parties can not make bank on 1 trade.
I have never had a limit order fill at a better price at any broker...

That is the point !! Guess it was not clear ! Don't use simple buy limits....which RH encourages because they sell the flow. (Obviously there are other types of limits but that is not this conv)
What order type allows for price improvement? I am a full-Time trader in Spot Forex and a "Price Improvement" order type is not available. I have never received price improvement on any order type in Futures either.
I think Traders in stocks can see several price quotes with different "paths" to take to get filled. How many times do traders miss their fill by going through a "path" that is not well chosen? Interactive Brokers has revolutionized this "path chosen" entry and exit method....but it has it's downfall also.
Sometimes I buy the assortment at See's Candy rather than handpicking. But I am just a passive consumer of chocolates...not a connoisseur.
