I agree Democrats aren't very good story tellers compared to Republicans.Im not surprised his numbers are this low.While I do think Biden is doing a good job on the economy and an amazing job on foreign policy thats not what brings many Dem voting groups to the polls.
Blacks and progressives wanted police reform.Progressives want student debt cancellation,free state college,medicare option for all,tax increases on the rich etc .Climate Dems want no fracking or new drilling on federal lands.Hispanics want immigration reform.Biden promised all this in 2020 and they went out and voted for him.He didn't deliver and they wont in 2024 imo.Not only didn't he deliver many feel he downright stabbed them in the back on issues important to them.
While mainstream Dems will support Biden due to the economy,foreign policy and keeping republicans out,other Dem groups wont imo.They showed that in 2000,2016 and in current polls.

The debt limit deal that fucked Dem voters was not stuck in the senate.The drilling and fracking he has allowed was not stuck in the senate.Fucking police reform voters at the state of the union was not stuck in senate.Using a law he knows that is likely to get struck down on debt cancellation was not stuck in the senate.Fucking unions by preventing from striking was was not stuck in the senate etc.Not fighting Manchin and Senima makes the stuck in the senate argument less credible.FDR and LBJ didn't give up the first time they were told no.

Dem voters got fucked with the debt limit deal because they stayed home in certain districts in 2022 election, elections have consequences and now they want to give away the Senate and Presidency to Republicans so they can get fucked more with deals like that? Would there been a debt limit deal or a House budget negotiation if Dems kept the House?

You really think a Republican controlled House would let the US default? You seriously can't believe that. Dems were lucky Roe got rescinded before the midterms or they could've expected a lot worse, not just a few districts in these "historical midterms" as you call it.
I'd have settled for voter and police reform. Rolling back the tax cuts would've been the cherry on top. No illusion of immigration ever happening since immigrants don't vote and it's worth more as a never fulfilled promise to dems.
Who knows with these clowns but it doesn't matter, if not for the debt deal, they would negotiate during the budget negotiations, when you lose one chamber of Congress, you can't simply ignore them. If anything, the deal was better for the Dems overall.
Dem voters got fucked because a weak ass moderate Dem President negotiated with GOP terrorist in the first place.Than he got a bad deal for the poor and middle class with nothing in return.Dont negotiate,invoke The Constitution,mint the coin and let the chips fall where they may .Highly unlikely The GOP would have allowed default anyway.
As far as striking,when campaigning in 2019 and 2020 Biden told Unions he had their backs.When it came time to fulfill that promise he told them to go fuck themselves.Manchin and Senima had nothing to do with it.That will cost him votes.

As far as the threat of Trump again,that threat works with moderate democrats.Progs and blacks have shown threatening a republican president if they dont vote for the moderate democrat does not work with them.As they see it there is little difference between a moderate Dem and Republican .
I would have settled for police reform or medicaid option for all,just one of those along with the decent job he is doing on the economy and great job he is doing in Ukraine and he would have had my vote,monetary donation and volunteering for him in 2024.
Obamas job on the economy and Obamacare was enough to get my support a second time,even though I had gripes with him.
It's so easy isn't it, just mint a coin and 'chips fall as they may'.
But its so hard for these Dem voters to come out and vote every two years - that's so hard and impossible to do.
It's always the politicians that have to go to extremes to do even keep the government open.
Such voters deserve nothing, let them keep getting fucked.
