JD Vance was is a clown,but beat a moderate Dem by 6 points in a state with a prog acceptable Dem Senator.
In a state Biden lost by 8 points and the prog acceptable Dem Senator is a long term incumbent who is against many prog proposals like expanding the court.
But the progressive caucus didn't try against Trump, the Freedom Caucus did and won which is why you are stating a hypothetical about how Trump wouldn't. How do you know he wouldn't if progs didn't try?
