Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is running for president.

The argument of "anything but" so "consider any nut". That's how Trump, Hitler, and a number of other terrible right wing populists came into power.

Consider this. Have you made some self-reflection/introspection that you were considering voting for this dude a few months ago over Biden?

Rfk lost my vote with the school shooting position. He would have lost it with the Russia statement as well. Its Green Party/West for me.

Trump-exacerbated inflation did put a ton of people on distress during Joe's term, but yeah, not buying it. Trump hardly broke 10% amongst dems his whole term.

You don't have to approve of Trump, many just really hate Biden. On the night of Bidens pro police SOTU I was ready to vote Trump but settled on Green. The main reason being voting GOP sends the message to Dems they need to move right.Voting Green sends the message they need to move left.

West's got a pretty non-interventionist (defacto pro-Russia) position though?

If you don't think there are progs that hate Biden so much they will vote Trump you are dead wrong.

Of course there are progs like that, but they were DSA or Green Party members to start with, they were never Dems.

I'm kind of curious what people you associate with that hate Biden more than Trump, sure some voted Trump because they hated Hillary after the primaries in '16, though in their defense had no history of a Trump presidency. Just pointing to the numbers that by approval numbers alone, I just don't see this being of significance.

West isn't going to win.I just want my vote noted with the millions of other progs that if you nomniate someone like Biden we will be voting Green.

Many people who volunteered and voted Biden in 2020.Climate people pissed about the fracking and drilling he promised he wouldn't allow, blacks pissed of over police reform and feel that even though Trump is racist his criminal justice reform is more than anything Biden has done, people pissed about college loans etc.

Don't look at just the approval, look at disapproval, that is a sign of voter anger and enthusiasm to go out and vote against you.Biden currently has the highest disapproval at this point since Carter, even higher than Trump.

Sure there's disappointment, but this reads like speculation. Though I'm not going to guess about your social circle and anecdotes.

If I don't approve of a candidate, it means I disapprove, the choice is binary so I'm not sure what you're talking about. I suppose the "I don't know/indifferent" low info voters take a chunk out of that.

Disapproval is specifically asked. When somebody says they disapprove rather than don't know that person is likely go out and vote against you rather than just stay home.In 2019 I was posting that Trump was toast because of his net approval and disapproval.Biden's is even worst than Trumps, and unlike Trump Biden has to win by 4-7 points to win The EC.
