That's the job of the SEC, FINRA, and FBI. I don't know that messaging technology well enough to say if they can even recover historic messages. After the time-out, they might just obliterate them in the cloud. Still, they should at at least have a list of users.
BTW: Keith did admit at the congressional hearing to having used SEVERAL other services besides Reddit. That question was specifically made to him.

each individual giving advice or involved in marketing distribution at a broker must be personally registered with FINRA and are bound to FINRA regulations. I bet he has a CRD number and therefore is fully under the authority of FINRA and the state regulator.

Keith Gill (aka Roaring Kitty, aka DeepF**kingValue) was a registered representative at Mass Mutual. The media have reported that he quit his job shortly after the whole Gamestop affair began.
It is easy to find his history at FINRA BrokerCheck. He holds multiple licenses, including Series 7 and Series 63. His registration is currently inactive. The FINRA database shows a current, open investigation by the State of Massachusetts.

The media have also reported that he is a CFA charterholder. As we discussed in another thread, the CFA is not a license, and it is not issued by a government agency. It is a credential issued by a nonprofit organization, kind of like the CFP designation.
