Well of course they want paid at maturity. Ratboy Congress sets the debt levels not the Fed. The Fed has nothing to do with issueing Treasury Obligations. They merely buy or sell in the open market to control the Discount Rate. You have no idea what you are talking about. Of course reading your past posts that is not a surprise.
