Well, he was betting against gold and JGBs over the last month and a half. Unless he was uncharacteristically piking small size, that's probably solved the 'not making money' and 'getting a trading stake' problem.

So, what is the purpose of your posts? The way you phrased them, it doesn't look like your main motive is altruistically warning off potential backers, rather there seems to be some bad blood between you and RM. If you are so concerned about full disclosure then shouldn't you disclose your own motives, it's pretty obvious you have some hidden agenda or personal axe to grind here. And if you don't want to do that - well, you already made the point (that RM has already admitted) about past blowup. No need to flog a dead horse.

He's pimping himself on threads that he's looking for a backer so I think he should be transparent about the fact hes not made any money in the last decade. I don't recall seeing any mention of the LAC blowup which is his most recent attempt at trading outside money. If he's mentioned LAC before then I offer my apologies.

Based on his stated goals for this thread, he's not seeking financial backing. He's seeking an exclusive community among high-earning traders in the Chicago area to share knowledge. And, let's be honest, maybe it's primarily glory, which... he's actually earned in spades, for years.
If you've traded in these environments, you know how rare edges don't get exposed in public forums and are hard to find via self-training. In spite of Ayn Rand's fantasy of the courageous innovator, when it comes to trading, the best knowledge is cultivated in a community. And if you aren't pathologically obsessed with wealth-as-status and can use leverage correctly, you don't need a backer to live well. Just fruitful edges.
No offense, but Cutten's probably onto something w/r/t your motivation. I mean, this is elite trader. Finding backers here is kinda silly. No shame in envy, nor in knowing the inside dirt. Just don't cloak it in protecting the public good.

Why do you care? You can read ET and see Rearden is not hiding. He say he do not use the stop loss. He say he lose money for the Schonfeld before. He say he do not want to be making his own fund because he do not want that responsibility y the obligation. He is honest for his heroin problem in one time.
But he make some calls on the ET in real time that are excellent!

I wish the market had repeating patterns this reliable. It almost goes without saying which type we're dealing with here, but I'll just state a few things for the record, only because remaining silent would have looked almost like an admission.
We are clearly dealing with an envious, highly dishonest individual bringing wildly false claims which contain a few kernels of truth that I haven't already freely admitted on these boards multiple times. It appears that everyone here already seems to knows this, and thanks to those who backed me up- without your words of support this kind of blatant slander would have pissed me off a bit.
I think we all know what kind of individual chooses to attempt to spread lies about others without provocation, and it's hardly the kind of person with any accomplishments of note in his own past worth bragging about. As long as guys like newwurldmn, MrN, trendlover, marketsurfer, pbj, Cutten, and Samsara are willing to call bullshit when they see it, no harm has been or will be done.
