While there are very nice ppl there its a miserable place to live if you are agnostic. I swear ppl join churches just to find some company! Although some of the gay guys said it actually was great to live in (SLC). I spent a rather lonely 4 years there so know where of I speak. The only state that has a bigger celebration for July 24th than they do for July 4th. Every single fu*king day SOMETHING about the LDS church or their "profits" (notice I don't say prophets) is written up on the FRONT page of the "secular" newspaper. When I whinned about this the retort was well....the Baptist run the south! There is no other state in the Union where ONE religion dominates with the same force as the LDS does in Utah. If you are not Morman or Christian or Gay...forget it!

Well, everyone has their own opinions but I don't think we should litter riskarbs thread with off topic convo. Especially since there are many people following for options education. Sorry riskarb, I didn't mean to open that can of worms. Happens whenever I mention where I'm from. I should know better.
