We desperately need constitutional amendments enacting congressional term limits, some form of flat or simplified tax, line item veto for the POUTUS and ideally a sizable reduction in the size of congress. (it doesn't take 535 corrupt, influence peddling, self serving assholes to <s>ruin</s> run a country)

When republicans stop making excuses for putting Bush in office, twice, and accept responsible for the bonehead decision making that put Bush in office 2000 and 2004...then perhaps things will be different going forward. Until that happens, I expect more of the same lunacy from the republican party, namely Huckabee, or Palin, or Jindal, or various other losers...
