I'm sure we have a few motorsports fans here in the investing world.
Last week Monday during testing, Eric Medlin, driver of one of 14 time Champion
John Force Racing's 4 Top Fuel Funny Cars, was in a terrible accident.
A few days later he died from the injuries.
RIP.
Years ago, it was proper for a racing team to "sit out" the next race in honor of a fallen driver,
but with today's multi-million dollar sponsorships, the financial obligations and commitments make that VERY hard to do.
However, John Force Racing, with 4 T/F Funny cars and 2 dragsters, will not participate at the NHRA Spring Nationals, in honor of Eric.
Very cool and old school.
I tip my hat to them.
Well Done.
