Dan had no children, and the song "the leader of the band" was a song Dan wrote for *his* father who was a high school band teacher.

Wow, what a young age to die of prostrate cancer, which, to my understanding, is usually not that malignant.

We seem to think we will live forever, when, actually, all we have is the present.
