Burt Reynolds died of a heart attack Thursday morning at a hospital in Florida, according to multiple reports.
Reynolds was 82.
Burt was transported a Florida hospital after going into cardiac arrest. His family was by his side when he passed.
Reynolds had heart problems for years -- he underwent major heart surgery in February 2010.

He was in some films I really enjoyed in my youth.

His characters had a sort of naughty sense of fun. I remember enjoying Shamus the most though it didn't do that well. I remember his shocking accident in it when a tree gave way under him, I'm sure he must have been pretty badly hurt, he was doing his own stunts. Typical of the man I would have thought.
