You don't have to be competitive when the other team defeats itself.
perfect discription of the republican party today. self inflicted irrelevance.

Quote from Aletheia:

Bullshit. The markets are rising because the halfrican's socialist agenda is being kicked to the curb by those not suckling the government teet. The halfrican's ratings are free falling, the markets are blasting up. Do the math.

Quote from vhehn:

if it makes people like you feel better to delude yourself into thinking that more power to ya. the democrats would hate for republicans to actually figure out out of touch they are and become competitive again.

IOW, you suck at math. Thank you for clearing that up.

Yes, you guys keep thinking that.

Gibbs communicated that mindset perfectly today! It was awesome!

You pretty much hit the nail on the head.
The 2006 Mid-Term elections easily confirmed that.

Are you on drugs?

It's still 2009 there Landis.

Quote from vhehn:

obama didnt directly cause this rally but his policies are giving the market its confidence back. the market by now has had a chance to disect all of his proposals and is giving him a big thumbs up.
the market was able to sniff out better times ahead and that is why the big rally off the bottom. now we are starting to get "better than expected" news. just this morning housing was better than expected.

imagine what happens to the party of no if the democrats are able to run on a strong economy record in the next election.

Which policies? Serious question.

The train for true conservatives is coming down the tracks. When all this big government bankrupts us there will be nowhere else to turn.

There were no policies arnie, Geithner simply continued Paulson's stuff and the stimulus is a fucking joke. Stabilizing the banks was Bush/paulson's goal, genius Obama stayed on the campaign trail and said nothing because he hasn't a clue.

Spending money is about the easiest 'policy' one could imagine. How this gets translated into a real plan is beyond me.

we'll see, when we get the full effects of all this debt and expanded socialism felt in 10 years we will probably wish bush stayed on. Any idiot can spend a trillion and pump up an economy, Geithner hasn't done a lot except continue Paulson's plan, Bernanke has been a constant throughout, so it's hard to see any new 'genius' here.

is it any surprise that his poll rating are low right now? you have the powerful right wing talk machine all focused on destroying him. rush, fox ect.
in the elections people vote their pocketbook and if things are precieved to be better what will republicans run on? i guess the republicans could pray for a double dip crash. how does if feel being reduced to hoping the country fails so you win?

lol, he destroyed himself... the commie
