In 1992,1996,2000 and 2016 the republican candidate got more electoral votes from the Confederate states than the Clinton's or Gore did.

Historically he has condemned violence and hate when it has been perpetrated by Muslims. Otherwise he's really slow if reacting at all. I'm still waiting for his condemnation of the Mosque bombing in Minnesota that happened last week.

And this tweet is a step up from where he was 7 months ago when he would have probably shown outrage that his supporters were being attacked.
