If the right wing has a better rational argument, simply produce it in a reasonable manner. The people will see that it is a superior argument, assuming of course that people are thinking effectively and applying logic and reason to their position.

As far as the middle east is concerned, I don't really care what they think. In the middle east your average peaceful protest will end up with about 25 people being beaten to death. To even try to put forth the notion that protests against Obamacare need to stop because of what people in the middle east might think is far beyond bizarre. The logic of leftwingers is amazing. I saw a bumper sticker the other day that said "Liberalism is a mental illness". I generally do not agree with such a statement, but when you make arguments like this, it certainly may be true in some cases.

I don't know what else to say. Optional777, you are a moron. I know liberals don't believe in the US Constitution, but it is the law regardless. Please read the Bill of Rights. People have freedom of speech in the USA. Its the law. I understand that Obama, and his followers, are extremely thin-skinned and cannot take criticism but that is their problem. It does not make sense for the rest of us to shut up because Obama can't take it. Your argument is weak, and the attempt by Obama to ram this through has failed.

Obama better hope he can get this through in the fall. If he can't get it through in the fall, he will officially be a lameduck President, not even 1 year into his term. He has a big advantage in the House and 60 votes in the Senate. For him to be having this much trouble getting his legislation through is a real testament to how ill-equipped he is to be President. His healthcare bill is stalled, as well as his Cap and Tax bill. It really shows how left he is when you have a large portion of the his own party rejecting his leftist agenda.

One other point about this whole debate. Obama is out there saying that people will not lose the coverage they currently have, but there is a provision in the House bill that would make a large portion of people to lose their current coverage. Obama was asked about this by a private citizen and Obama said he did not know that provision was in the bill. It is absolutely embarrassing that private citizens know more about this bill than Obama. Its unacceptable.

you know, in theory, they are designed to allow the servants of they constituents, to hear the concerns of those consTituents.

And yes, there are many concerned constituents regarding a federal take-over of 16% of the economy.

Protected speech, absolutely! Now you may be guilty of other offenses such as disorderly conduct.

Just like Gates, he had the right to yell at the cops and the cop had the right to haul him to jail. The charges were dropped because there was no case.

Obama, being the least transparent leader ever ,would never allow normal people into his town hall. He only allows Acorn types who suck off the tit of big Government. So much for free discourse.
