One relevant "technical" difficulty was the statute of limitations. The case would have had to have been tolled. At the time of dismissal there was a tolling hearing scheduled for December. The plaintiff would likely claim she was afraid of retribution and that's why she did not come forward at the time of the alleged incident. Probably there is little to back up the plaintiffs claims, though the filing identifies a witness, and if I recall correctly, there is a statement from the witness included in the filing. Regardless, it is very difficult to bring a case for which the time to file expired years ago, though not unheard of.

It does not matter, the way conservatives spin it is to give him mulligans. That is it, moral dilemma solved.
It is the left that showed character last election and did not vote for Clinton blindly, thus giving victory to Trump. I personally know many democrats who stayed home because they could not vote with clear consciousness for her.

In Colombia were have some nasty predators coming down here starting Texas church franchises.. I am not impressed by how straightforwardly conmen they are.
The country is something like 95% Catholic. One can expect a LOT of people had bad experiences with the Catholic church and want an alternative... however bad to worse does not begin to cover it.
There are many good pastors etc I am sure.. but they do nothing I can see to prevent the wolves among them taking advantage.
