You have not been to Kentucky...
I have.
Plants in Berea, Calvert City, Grayson, London, Louisville, Richmond and Winchester being shipped out to the small U.S. markets for electric vehicles that continues to grow each month.
I have a cousin that works at the plant in Grayson for the past two years. Also, we drove his new electric vehicle to visit a friend of his in Richmond. His friend recently had an electric vehicle charging station
built at her house although one was not there when we visited her this past summer...
He got her a good deal on her first EV car charging station by using his employee discount.
A study published in Nature Sustainability shows that homes near EV charging stations experience a boost in property value. According to the study, homes situated between 0.4 to 0.5 kilometers of EV chargers are valued at about 3.3% higher than homes outside of that range.
According to a study conducted by the
Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, homes with charging stations typically sell for about $15,000 more than homes without them. This number varies based on the location of the home, the type of home, and the type of charging station installed, but on average, a charging station will have a positive effect on your home's value.

In addition, three military buddies in Kentucky recently had an EV charging station installed at their homes from Henderson Electrical Services.
Their motto..
.We have installed nearly 300 EV chargers across the state thus far, working with companies like Walmart and Kroger. We see an excellent opportunity to serve our clients by coming alongside other industries to grow the amount of charging stations available.
We can help.

What does Walmart have to say about Electric Vehicles (EV) Charging Stations ?
Absolutely nobody cares about this stuff ?
Yesterday, I had a package delivered to me here in Québec City, Canada by a guy
driving an electric van that his company (IKEA) contracted to make his deliveries. He said his company (IKEA) has an order for 15 more vehicles to add to their fleet as they phase out diesel/gas vans.
IKEA said the vehicles will help it achieve 20% of its zero-emission delivery goals. The Swedish retailer has set a 2030 goal of becoming a
circular and climate-positive business through a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
As a trader and investor...I tend to notice investment opportunities especially when it knocks on my front door for a delivery.
Also, Toyota has designated a plant in Georgetown, Kentucky to build EV charges for Toyota cars starting in 2025.
By the way, I've never been to it but the existing plant looks big and it will be sourced from an EV plant in North Carolina. The driving force for this cross-jurisdictional excitement was an announcement on Monday from the office of Governor Roy Cooper about Toyota’s search for a suitable place to produce batteries for its lines of hybrid and electrified vehicles.

Oddly, the above news story is using an image from an Toyota plant in Indiana that's in the process of converting part of its plant into EV charger production.

For the record, when CHINA first became interested in Electric Vehicles...
it took them about 5 years to build their first EV plant due to red tape that had initially slowed them down.
Reminder, you did say
Absolutely nobody cares about this stuff.
Isn't that a common statement by Trump ?
Built so far...zero. That's what Politico said...right.
Chevrolet, Ram, Tesla, and GMC are all set to release competitors to the three electric pickups already on the market: the Ford F-150 Lightning, the Rivian RT1, and the GMC Hummer EV. That automakers are excited by the idea of electrifying one of their most lucrative gas-powered segments is hardly surprising.
The above are American cars.

A study by realtor.com showed that home listings in metro areas with the most EV charging stations were 1.5 times higher than surrounding ZIP codes and 2.6 times higher than the rest of the country. It’s no surprise that most of these zones are in California — the state leads the nation with over 1
3,000 public charging stations.
New York, with 10,000 fewer stations, is in second place, and Florida, Texas, and Massachusetts are close behind. The presence of charging stations in your community indicates EV adoption, and installing a home charging station may
offer convenience to many prospective homebuyers.

Oh, wait...Canada is giving thousands of dollars in Electric Car Tax Credits, Incentives & Rebates for each purchase. It could be why companies like IKEA and hundreds of others businesses are switching to electric vehicles here in Canada...
Hopefully, Canada will buy its EV chargers from those plants in Indiana, North Carolina, California, or
Kentucky.
