President Barack Obama first announced the PAYE plan in Oct. 2011 and it has become synonymous with the ‘Obama Student Loan Plan.’ The most prominent features of the plan are to cap monthly loan repayments at 10% of your discretionary income and offer loan forgiveness if you make 20 years of qualified payments.

One thing we can think Biden for is ending the ability to discharge student loans in bankruptcy.

Even though Obama started it in 2011 I think people who were paying their loans before than their previous payment count toward the 240-300.
Thats what he says publicly.Privately he said never underestimate Joes ability to fuck things up and wanted to replace him with Hillary in 2012.
