Not that it's how we should judge a President, but Trump eats his steak well done with ketchup. Not sure conservative media wants to go there with childlike food behavior, but they will anyways.
I remember our extreme liberal trolls going into a tizzy because President Donald Trump was eating junk food plus coke. Reality is a lot of Americans are eating a lot fast food and drinking sweet beverages. That is not counting their daily Starbucks Iced Coffee or Frappuccino's. It is up to the individual to determine how much junk food they want to consume.
It might lead to slightly higher fares, but shouldn't something be done to make sure companies don't just cancel flights and leave customers stranded? What happened with Southwest over Christmas was a complete disaster.
So U.S. based airlines have a business model which is based on overbooking aircraft and leaving customers stranded at the gate. Similarly their business models include deliberate overbooking aircraft knowing some routes will not be flown each day, likewise the same with staffing for flights. Similarly the planned maintenance is being under-performed on airplanes leading to more planes suffering issues at the gate causing flights to be cancelled
It is long overdue that federal law and regulations are put officially into place to compensate travelers with meals, hotels, taxis, and cash, miles, or travel vouchers when your flight is delayed or cancelled because of their mistake.
And Southwest will likely pay for it in business, which is how capitalism works. Bad service? Bad business.
