Is this a valid poll because I could change the question and say the last 3 recessions were under Republican Presidents and the last 2 surpluses were under Democratic Presidents... Who do you trust to manage the economy?
I bet the results would flip significantly. Although perception matters in elections, and one could say the respective presidents played no role in either recession or boom, clearly facts do not matter also in polls....

The poll is vaild and shows what every other poll show,that Americans think Biden sucks on the economy.

1. What did Biden do exactly that hurt the economy? I mean you want to blame Biden for the economy but it looks more or less normal or on a positive track. I dont credit that to him but you want to blame him for it. Are you being objective or just pissed at him.

2. the poll didnt ask about Biden, it asked about if they trust GOP or Dems to run an economy. If they looked historically their answer should have been Dems. If they feel worred about current economy they could have answered GOP. IN other words the poll was not specific.

If Biden is the Dem currently in charge of the economy obviously the question is about him,the question said nothing about historically.

If you believe the president is responsible then what facts are you relying on to claim Biden is horrible for the economy... inflation? Not really a presidential thing but GDP represents the economy and so far looks ok.

This economy sucks .People are hurting.It was better under Obama.Pre covid it was better under Trump.As polls show most Americans agree.

Well that is a cop out saying it was better under Obama because overall the economy was extremely strong coming out of hte housing crisi recession and lasted well into trump until covid shut down the world economy. The economy was great in that period and neither obama nor trump added or detracted from it.

People are pissed about inflation and the left over effects of the Covid shutdown but it is fine if they want to blame Biden but they will simpyl get something worse.

This economy sucks is a nice opinion but outside of inflation, the economy is shown to have really good numbers for unemployment, GDP growth and even for other sentiments. Inflation is putting a real dig on most families but most of them are making more money and the job market is extremely tight.
