Quite so.

And they are not profitable on electric vehicles. So they are being forced to build more of the vehicles that are losing money in place of the profitable internal combustion engine autos. Clearly a collision coarse that will come home to roost. And the massive "excess" profits the workers think is theirs is actually the source of funding for future technology and production improvements.

These companies were getting bailouts not so long ago. But if they start to get back on their feet, the government steps up to "fix" that. They will be back to bailouts at some point not so far away. And- while I cringe when saying this- the case for bailout requests by them will have merit. They want to go in directions that are competitive and profitable but the government is forcing them to go down an unprofitable path.

When the layoffs set in now and more to come, will Joe be telling the UAW that when he puts them out of business they can just learn to do computer coding and programming as he did to the mine workers in West Virginia? I am going with "NO WAY" for $200 Alex.

Every black person I know under 60ish have long ago decided they wouldn't be voting for Biden again.Most said they would stay home or vote Green.Over the last few days of group text and chat many are or are considering voting Trump.The reason,they are sick and tired of the migration shit and they love that NY Mayor Eric Adams is making it an issue in nationwide news.Some suspect Adams might jump into the race and many hope he does so they don't have to vote for a republican on the issue but what Adams is saying is an issue that has been pissing blacks off for quite some time it seems and Adams is bringing it to light.

I have seen a few polls with Trump polling 15-20% with blacks.
