As I recall, he did question that move also. Or maybe this was his breaking point for the stupidity. There should be no "too big to fail". The handouts just encourage the dolts to keep coming back everytime they screw up, and to keep repeating history. Oh well, we were a great country. There's still hope. Some will learn from this mess and use it make themselves and the US better.

We need to "let capitalism be capitalism"... for the irresponsible, reckless and fuck-ups (including Congress) to suffer the consequences of their decisions.... so that they and the world understand and accept, "flourish on your own merits or perish".

It's capitalism and respect for the rule of law which made America great.

If we apply "Socialistic remedies to make whole all who fucked up"... We're not only (1) punishing the wrong people and (2) rewarding/helping the wrong people... but in addition, we're sending America down the shitter!.

Not only for us now, but our kids and grandkids. :mad: :mad:

I don't always watch CNBC and I don't always unmute when he comes on, but the few times I heard him talk about the bailout, he didn't seem for it. Plus, the plan kept changing from bazookas in Hammering Stammering Hank's pocket to just buying the worst assets to the TARP just becoming a government slush fund. It was pretty hard to know what you were rebelling against since the whole thing was a giant, moving blob of shit. This plan is more clear, thus easier to take a position on.

Those clips don't get played because he's not screaming in them. This one gets a lot of play because he totally lost it.

Hey numbnuts.. you haven't paid attention. It was the DemoCraps in 1999 who initiated Affirmative Action Lending. The DemoCraps are responsible for starting/enabling this entire mess.

Bush "jumped onboard" (in retrospect, not to his credit), but he wasn't in office when this cancer started!!

Any time anyone spoke up, they were shouted down. Imagine how politically popular saying "not every American should buy a home and it's a bad idea to lower credit standards to allow unqualified buyers to gamble with bank investors' money."

You would have been accused of being anti-poor and a giant racist. Besides, while Bush is a total disaster, all politicians before Bush were pushing home buying. Turns out that people who buy vs. rent tend to vote for incumbents.
