Rick is my new hero. Can't wait for the Tea Party, but am wondering what we will throw in the lake......perhaps effigies of certain politicians? Stosh
 
Santelli is the only person on CNBC who has any real credibility and knows what hes talking about!

Your not gonna like this piece because there's no shouting going on. There's no CNBC cheerleading or ideological rants. They also understand the point of the bill.
 
this bill, while it does allow undeserving homeowners keep their homes, is ultimately another gift for wall street.

before, the toxic assets are based on a pool of loans that will soon default. now, these loans won't default anymore. these fucking leeching homeowners will at least pay something which is better than nothing.

the value of these toxic assets increase a bit and become a bit more liquid, which means more money for wall street firms.

homeowners benefit, but the intent was to help wall street.

The guys standing around Rick are mostly phone clerks.They are not making a bunch of money.Plus many pit traders are just making a living, not any more than an accountant of police officer.

I worked on the exchange floors in Chicago for a long time and can tell you the guys down there are a good cross section of America.

There are people from all backgrounds , both ethnic , religious and socioeconomic.
