Richard Clarke - Against All Enemies

Innocent until proven guilty.

Quote from Maverick74:

ART, for God's sakes man, what do you want him to say on CNN? Yeah, I did it, twice! I tried to hook up twice with 12 year old girls on the internet. And if I got the chance, I would do it again. ART, you cannot be so naive. CNN also interviewed OJ Simpson too and he said he was innocent. Hey he was on CNN so it must be true right? LOL. What a joke. Art, your left wing ideology is killing you here, just move on. Use somebody else to get your points across, don't use this guy. Put these conspiracy theories to rest OK? The one armed man did not do anything. Come back to reality.

That's why reality can go further than fiction...

Do you forget who wanted Irak's war, the first one with Clinton ? It was Sauda Arabia because Saddam is ANTI-ISLAM and that Saudi Arabia want the whole region to become fanatised by Islamism. So really what a joke to pretend that Saddam the ANTI-ISLAMIST would collide with the PRO-ISLAMIST Ben Laden haha !

Quote from max401:

Clarke's version of events hardly seems realistic. Take this excerpt for example of what Clarke alleges sometime right after Bush returned to the White House on 9/11:

"The president dragged me into a room with a couple of other people, shut the door, and said, 'I want you to find whether Iraq did this.' Now he never said, 'Make it up.' But the entire conversation left me in absolutely no doubt that George Bush wanted me to come back with a report that said Iraq did this."

"I said, 'Mr. President. We've done this before. We have been looking at this. We looked at it with an open mind. There's no connection.'

"He came back at me and said, "Iraq! Saddam! Find out if there's a connection.' And in a very intimidating way. I mean that we should come back with that answer."

Sounds like a far fetched movie script.

Funny, you don't apply that same logic to the Bush administration over WMD and 9/11. Once again ART, you expose yourself as a hypocrite.

The problem is when Bush's administration controls and prevent the justice procedure it's difficult to do so...

The proof is that Bush and company claimed with certainty that WMD were there, and that was the reason given for urgent action.

If someone makes a claim that evidence exists, yet there is no evidence, are they guilty of reporting false evidence?

Yes.

Did they do it intentionally?

Perhaps yes, perhaps no. In any case, they are guilty of reporting false evidence.

And who has been fired because of this false evidence leading the US into war?

You wanna the true reason: like Ben Laden Bush went to war because God ordered him hahaha :

"Abbas said that at Aqaba, Bush promised to speak
with Sharon about the siege on Arafat. He said
nobody can speak to or pressure Sharon except
the Americans.
According to Abbas, immediately thereafter Bush
said: "God told me to strike at al Qaida and I
struck them, and then he instructed me to
strike at Saddam, which I did, and now I am
determined to solve the problem in the Middle
East. If you help me I will act, and if not,
the elections will come and I will have to
focus on them"

The Roguester would possibly reply: "OJ Simpson? Were you there? Did you see him actually do it?"

Quote from Maverick74:

Magna if you only knew how much joy I get out of posting that stuff to watch liberals like you go ***** and shout and scream and cry. It's fun to watch your face turn red from the blood rushing to your face in pure anger over that stuff.

I don't believe anything I read because most of it is just entertainment. It's there to amuse you. People who write for a living or report the news for a living need to find an audience or they don't get paid. The only way they can find an audience is by being dramatic, over the top and sensational. And this means people on both the right and the left.

This is coming from a guy that was in the number three journalism school in the country. So I know what I'm talking about.

***************************************

Maverick;
Interesting because many journalism school teaches unbelief;
& my read is the market proves to any one a certain amount of unbelief is profitable.

Maverick74, i find that hard to believe you dont'' believe anything'' you read -how about your brokerge statement AFTER doublechecking buddy???????????????????????????????????????

:D :D
Richard Clarke certainly was emotionaly moving with apology;
but I dont believe him , like Maverick.

Find Investors Business Daily NOTEBLY more accurate than most major media, especially in politics & business.

Of course IBD isnt filled with Republican haters like most of media.

Investors .com[powered by IBD] noted Clarkes credibility problem yesterday

And ''Virtually all Clarkes negative comments have come in recent days as he flogged sales of his books.'' IBD 3-25
=========================================
Dont agree with most of Blair Hulls politics;
but UNLIKE most of national news media I DONT hate one or lie or try to trash someone LIKE most in news business have done with people who differ.

2. WMD & who says they are not any;
are youlike media, trying to justify you anti-war position????, Hussein used WMD on Iran, WMD on his own people.

3. Win War on terror

========================

The news media & Republicans threw a fit over his recent WMD joke;however someone in the media noted many in media laughed at it.
