Rich people dont create jobs.

You (ricter) wrote

"Private ownership of large pools of capital is not, strictly speaking, necessary for job creation."

lets break this sentence down.

Large is all relative so it means nothing.
strictly speaking means nothing
necessary for job creation - is the point.
pools of capital... yes.

Private ownership... implies a versus no pools or govt pools.

So you are either suggesting a marxist economy or no capital can also create jobs.

So yes that is what you said.

Money is either not necessary because pools of capital are not necessary or ...

Or a Ricter style Marxist Utopia makes private pools of capital unnecessary.
Ahh, I see how this happened. You're too quick to try and insult.

What I meant was, we don't need rich people, strictly speaking. A large group of middle class savers with their money at a bank have created a large pool of capital.

By the same token we don't need poor people at all.:D

I do not see how this was a rich vs middle class statement. It was about pools of captial.

I am quick to stop leftist b.s., frankly, I am tired of our countries future being pissed away by spineless politicians who are afraid to tighten the belt so they make up crap. Now its stimulus, then it will be class warfare... then whatever excuse they can find to spend us into collapse. it has to stop.

But, I have no desire to piss you off.

Note: please read this whole thing, not just the first few sentences.

No we don't. And, yet, throughout history the rich have exploited the poor. We talk about generational welfare families, what about generational, inherited money, family franchises. That being said.

I have no problem with Bain capital, they make good money for their shareholders, and our guy did a lot of work to make money from what might be otherwise failed businesses.

We just cannot blame those who aren't given the same inherited capital. It makes us look like pompous asses.

Make welfare turn into workfare. Give everyone some help, but not welfare, no section 8, maybe a few months, like unemployment. Don't make either a career.

My family did better than the previous generation, through hard work, not through government subsidies. My dad did get some help from the VA, but he worked his ass off his whole life so I could try to do better. Paid for my college, no gov't grants, just he and my mom's labor.

I cannot stand to see all this biased crap, against the gay and other groups, stand in the way of kicking Obama out. I know the Mormons are of a different ilk, but who cares. Better than Obama.

Agree, please see my previous post. It may sound like some middle of the road to some, but I hope it makes sense to most of us.

So which part of this do you disagree with?
