Yes, they are real! I can provide statements from Interactive Brokers to back them up!
Currently, I charge $500 a month. First month is straight $500.. afterwards you can walk away or sign up for 2 more months at the same rate. After 3 months, a new rate is agreed upon and a new contract is signed for 6 months.
