i am not swinging ...i am scalping 1/2-2 ticks.......that is what i am good at

when i was swinging i was making 6-12 ticks after hours

2 tick is quite rare ......feels like a lottery if i get it

it is a lot easier to know what is going to happen in the next 2 bars then in the next 50-100.

up 7.2 % in 70 min....9 trades not a single loss...no free time to post trades because have to watch and think fast....at my age it is important not to get bored and keep mentally and physical active.

trade what is happening...do not try to anticipate or out guess market or yourself

swinging is bloody irritating the market keeps going up and down in the same bloody place ...a lot ado about nothing

Although i agree with your logic and tried to master that for years, your better off looking for a direction and riding it for 30pts, way less work, way less spread and comms costs, better win rate and R:R so less profit profit profit lose it all repeat.

markets do not swing always, so i have always wanted to learn to scalp....i am surprised myself at the result....but if there is an opportunity for a swing, an obvious one, such as shown in the chart i posted i do take it..with both hands
