Hi,

I am planning to take a course in financial engineering and high frequency equity trading in Jan. Can you guys suggest some resources for reviewing the fundamentals needed for the subject, such as,

linear algebra
statistics
calculus

MIT has courses online that you could run through for a review. I don't have the link on this computer, but I'm sure it is easy to find through MIT's website.

Can you suggest some foundation classes to take?

you can get videos from NetFlix that give good reviews on calc, and maybe stats. couldn't hurt
