Reverse Trader's Grail

Quote from ProfitProphet:

Thanks for the breath of fresh air mschey. Are you more tweeker or trader?

This thread got off on the wrong foot. I am not interested in sharing anything. Only to say that it is very possible to consistently beat the markets. To all the whiners, wolves and beggars, words are meaningless. This is not a debate. Make mince meat of all words I post. I'll make mince meat of your shouldn't-be-trading-lunch-money-account.

You are locked in a pitch black room with no windows or source of light save one. A digital clock with lighted red numbers. The clock does not display military time. At what time will your room be the brightest?

Name 10 parts of the human body that are spelled in English with only 3 letters. Slang not accepted.

What is the best way to catch a polar bear?

Cut a big hole in the ice and put peas around the perimeter. When the bear goes to take a pea, kick him in the ice hole.

hey, if you're here to pick up tweekers, this isnt that kind of place

but seriously, even though people on this forum do get fooled by hucksters, you've got to be a little less transparent to do it

you're not fooling anyone

I've taken $4732 and in a little over seven years profited over $5,356,888.42 including today. The average is 5% compounded monthly,

Your numbers don't add up dude.
Your lies are an order of magnitute too high.

$4732 compounded monthly at a rate of 5% per month gives you just over $285,000 in 7 years. So the last poster is correct. Your numbers do not add up.

5% compounded monthly is just under 80% annually. That is hardly a "grail", especially for a sub-$5,000 account.

You're making far too much "sense" for the OP of the thread.

I'm cutting me own throat here. Where am I going to find suckers if I don't check my own math.

I'm having a bad day. I traded 50 ER contracts went long @ 738.4 at 10:14 and exited @ 742.50 at 10:31 for a total profit of $4,000. I paid so much in comission its not even worth it.

I'm heading out to Jason's Deli for creamy roast beef, black eye pea soup with spicy Fergie, a bag of chips and maybe a salad.

If anyone wants some cash go long now because I am going to short into this rally.

Dear Diary. Please keep the mean people away. They hurt my feelings.

Darn! The raccoons are burrowing under my double wide again. If the squirrels eat the cable again I can't commmunnnicate with the nice people on ET

Musings of a polar bear: Grrrrr

BEGINNING
Quote from ProfitProphet:

Jesse Livermore did it with a crude spreadsheet. William Delbert Gann did it with astronomy and astrology. Steven Cohen does it by "getting the information first."

Those who say the markets cannot be predicted, cannot predict it. Those who say the trader's Grail does not exist, has never found it.

The actions of a lone individual are difficult to predict. The actions of a crowd are much simpler. Think of a crowd as an evolving glob of energy. Ever been to a stadium and could feel the anticipation of the crowd? That's energy in motion and it can be captured and analyzed. How? With radio science. Audiology.

Take the frequency and amplitude of waves and dissect it into certain fractals. Apply an audio based algorithm to the pattern and it will tell you the frequency and amplitude of where the next energy wave is going. Simple as that.

Have you ever seen an indicator that is so bad it's good? An indicator that is always always wrong you just toss it in the trash. Or do you? Just fade its signals. It says buy at the top or sell at the bottom. That's the confirm for the wave analysis. Works best on a 10 minute frame.

See you all at the bank!

I sense this thread is being mocked. Skepticism is encouraged.

The term audiology may not be sufficient. The science of radio waves is more accurate.

Radio wave calculations assumes an uninterrupted, unobtrusive path. Perfect harmony. What came before, will happen again.

The markets is a cauldron of emotions which can be quantified. Toss in random news and announcement items which may or may not have an effect on the established, predicted waves and the reliability drops 17.8%

The radio wave algorithm works best on non-event days where free market dynamics is left alone and not influenced of news or announcements.

If the market traded in a bubble with no outside influences, the radio wave model would no doubt be the Holy Grail of trading.

Because of the unpredictibility of outside market influences, the radio wave model's accuracy is knocked down to an overall 82.2% reliability factor.

Much like a turbo-charged engine is meaningless unless the driver knows how to use it properly and efficiently, all this scientific horsepower is meaningless unless one is in the driver's seat at all times. The trade must be properly managed. Jesse Livermore's "probe" stratagem worked 100 years ago, it still works today: Maximize your position when the wind is at your back, but not all at once.

And learn to take regular profits. That is what we are here for.

This is actually the weakest, most information free, knowledgeless thread I've ever read here at ET, (and maybe, yeah probably anywhere else too).

Bye,

JJ
