The War on Drugs presents an affront to the Fourth Amendment that pales phone records by comparison. Authorities can kick in the door, shoot your dog, hold your kids at gunpoint, take the title to your house without a conviction and the burden of proof is on YOU to get it back. Try and top that... We have Republicans to thank for that shit, Rockefeller Republicans to be more specific. Of course Democrats have stood by and watched this atrocious mess for a few decades and done nothing about it.

And the liberals, who used to be against this type of shit, are now complicit. I guess being in power and having your people in power changes everything...until it backfires...which is exactly when it's too late. Hope they wake the fuck up.

Liberals will say and do anything to get votes.
Take the Clintons, for example.
However, I will say this; I do not believe that the liberals, at the top, are actually stupid.
They understand, very well, how to win elections.
They understand what mentality is holding the majority of the voter registration cards.
And they play those low mentality voters like a fiddle.
In other words, I do believe the liberals at the lower level are that stupid.

Well said. Nancy appears dumb as a rock, yet she got the holy grail of socialism through (HC). And I agree that there is no shortage of useful idiots to play. And play them they do!
