Pretend you are white (assuming you are black) Try and pretend you are white. balckhorseshoe. Now you as whitie are listening to a black preacher who preaches blame the white people for all that is wrong with black america. And listen to this preacher whos agenda is only to help black people, not whites. It is not fear that whittie is feeling, whitie is feeling the hate and rejection that Rev Wright has for them. Why would whittie embrace someone who clearly hates them?
Let me ask you, Why do some blacks love this man who has become a rich black american, but speaks of hate white rich people and america?
I've listened to Rush, I get his act and his rap and his sermons, and the mega dittos are exactly the same as the "amens" from the audience at Wright's sermons...

No they are not. It all started when a caller praised Rush's show and wished that it never end. A following caller said "ditto" to that last caller. That was the beginning of what became "mega-dittos". It does not mean "I agree with everything you say Rush". It means "I love the show and hope it never ends." Even liberals in the know call in and say "dittos" to Rush, and then go on to argue with him. Rush has explained this countless times and it is a running joke that those who claim to have listened to Rush out themselves when they show their ignorance as you have.
Sorry, I am not so nuanced as John Kerry. When I see a preacher cursing America with "God-damn America" and referring to it as the "US of KKK A", with thousands of cheering sycophants, I have a hard time not seeing hate.

It has now been learned that this same preacher who told his flock to keep themselves apart from whites and don't even aspire to be middle class, has now acquired a 10,000 sqare foot retirement house with a ten million dollar home outfitting plan, in a gated community that is 96% white.
Apparently what is good for the shepherd is too good for the flock.
The amens started when a parishioner was moved by the spirit to give thanks to God while in Church.
