Quote from blackhorseshoe:
why do whtties fear this negro?
Quote from Gord:
I don't know anything about Savage, so I won't comment on him. But equating "mega dittos Rush" to Wright's audience saying "Amen" just tells me you have never listened to Rush, and don't know what he stands for, and you don't know what "mega dittos Rush" means.
Whether it is a "cheap manipulative trick" or what I see as America-hate, at least we can agree that it is indefensible...
And I agree that their tax exempt status should be pulled.
No they are not. It all started when a caller praised Rush's show and wished that it never end. A following caller said "ditto" to that last caller. That was the beginning of what became "mega-dittos". It does not mean "I agree with everything you say Rush". It means "I love the show and hope it never ends." Even liberals in the know call in and say "dittos" to Rush, and then go on to argue with him. Rush has explained this countless times and it is a running joke that those who claim to have listened to Rush out themselves when they show their ignorance as you have.Quote from ZZZzzzzzzz:
I've listened to Rush, I get his act and his rap and his sermons, and the mega dittos are exactly the same as the "amens" from the audience at Wright's sermons...
Sorry, I am not so nuanced as John Kerry. When I see a preacher cursing America with "God-damn America" and referring to it as the "US of KKK A", with thousands of cheering sycophants, I have a hard time not seeing hate. You may "see" it as America hate, simply because you have a distorted view of what America actually is, just like those dim bulbs who have called Americans who protested the war in Iraq "America haters."
Great points.Quote from trendlover:
Pretend you are white (assuming you are black) Try and pretend you are white. balckhorseshoe. Now you as whitie are listening to a black preacher who preaches blame the white people for all that is wrong with black america. And listen to this preacher whos agenda is only to help black people, not whites. It is not fear that whittie is feeling, whitie is feeling the hate and rejection that Rev Wright has for them. Why would whittie embrace someone who clearly hates them?
Let me ask you, Why do some blacks love this man who has become a rich black american, but speaks of hate white rich people and america?

Gee - you were doing so well with your self-control. We were having a civil discussion and even agreed on a point or two.Quote from ZZZzzzzzzz:
The amens started when a parishioner was moved by the spirit to give thanks to God while in Church.
Then it became a mindless habit, just like "mega dittos."
Real liberals do not say "mega dittos" to Rush...they say Rush Limbaugh is a fat pig.
Now I know why you took the handle, Gordo.
El gordo in Spanish means fat one...just the big fat pig el gordo Rush Fatbaugh...
LOL!
