Retail version of TT

Quote from Pa(b)st Prime:

Other than speed and great stability (worth the cost because of those two attributes) X-Trader isn't exactly feature laden. In fact it's primitive, inconvenient and unnecessarily resource intensive.

Never before has a company gotten more litigious mileage out of patents that deliver so little.......

When it first rolled out in 2000 it was ohhhs and ahhhs. It is pretty much the same look and feel. One good thing is that it is stable and I personally have used it since day one and not had too many problems. Nowadays, there are many similar choices that are less expensive. Someone like E-Speed could give them a run for their money and that is something to watch ---EccoPro.

TT's version 7 should offer a lot of improvements. We will see. TT has always had one thing going for it. Traders hate change. Especially if something works well and is stable.

Time will tell. But I have a feeling, unless they really screw something up. TT is going to be around.

Hey bro. Just want to wish you a happy New Year!!!

Traders hate change if it doesn't lead to profitability.

Question: Why on earth does anyone pay $600 a month (or more) for a freakin' DOM. I mean, c'mon, folks. Methinks the emperor is butt-naked.

i gotta agree

booktrader is fast, stable, and intuitive

i don't see any reason to change to TT

fwiw, i have also tried ninjatrader, zerolinetrader, brackettrader, etc.
