Quote from Aisone:
... very difficult personal experiences that tweaked me and practically made me afraid of fear. I'm no longer fearless. Butterflies get to me now, which used to be simply an awesome sign of a good trade.
I no longer have the strength to overcome the butterflies and have in general become afraid of taking risks
I am not a qualified clinical psychiatrist, and it seems to me you will do well to see one, to help you basically remove the programming/conditioning that took place following these difficult personal experiences.
You could also actually, research on the internet, what emotions/feelings are usually generated by these type of experiences.
For INSTANCE, if your home is robbed, one would expect feelings of insecurities to be generated.
So researching all the possible feelings/emotions that could have been generated during these experiences, and analysing how they got generated - the thought process you went through, the beliefs you developed.
Just seeing how the experiences generated the feelings and the beliefs will help ease things.
Also, when researching the negative experiences, you might come across how other people have reacted in the same type of experiences - try to analyse why they reacted this way, what beliefs made them react this way, what feelings they had and why.
Hope that helps.
