WARNING! I was wrong.
Eyefinity 6 will only drive two "Legacy" monitors (DVI, HDMI) without adapters.
Each additional "Legacy" monitor will require either
  • an active adapter in the ~$30 range, providing a max resolution of 1920 x 1200 (no USB connector for power), or
  • an active adapter in the ~$100 range to get a higher resolution, up to the limit of the card (adapter has a USB connector for power).
