Only having £200 at risk, is risk management, 200 or 10000 hes going to blow it either way, so better to learn with an account you can blow and just not care.

I started with 200 and only have 4k currently.

Doesnt have to be a rich people only game, poor people dig in keep going and id say more maje it, rich people drop 100k in, blow it in no time then never try again.

Go with the micro e-minis. Great volatility, REGULATED market. Far better to be a micro e-mini piker than a Forex micro lot piker.

AMP Futures is probably the broker you want. Their micro e-mini roundtrip fees are decent.

I am really short on cash, I wont be able to put up $5k any time soon. I want exposure to stocks as I can screen them by volatility/largest movers and I can be more selective in what I trade. Is there no CFD broker that isnt just scamming you? Ive been looking and they mostly have bad reviews.

SEVERAL , like ALLY, SCHWAB, , Fidelity,have ''free'' ETFs; have to hold 30 days or they slap a small fee on.Some of those are semi liquid, but liquid enough; some have no opening minimums+ a limit order is good enough.

Don't know much about Robbin Hood;
but they are known for huge payment for order flow[WSJ article]

Don't waste your money, save up $500 go Micro futures and learn to daytrade that.

Stocks through CFDs have huge spreads, from what I've seen, total rip off don't do it.

Agreed! Micro Futures really has the volume and volatility but small moves in your account to really learn the market movements with different reports that are released and new reactions etc. I think they're great when you want to participate in the market but keep your risk minimal.
