LOL, all of this bullshit back and forth, anyone here willing to take a bet that Obamacare doesnt get repealed within the next 2 weeks? Im willing to give 3-1, though I hope it doesnt happen cause its been way more fun/easy making money the last couple days when it became obvious it wouldnt happen.
On Thursday market gets cracked after climbing all day, cause Ryan says they have the votes. On the news republicans didnt have the votes, market gets crushed, and it gave you tons of time to get in, trades arent usually this easy, free money shorting the market right after the headline. On Friday the market got cracked again on the idea that the republicans didnt have the votes, didnt chase on friday cause i thought it was a rehashed headline, thought the market wouldnt be stupid enough to panick on something we already knew, but i was wrong, ended up Shorting TVIX and NUGT when i thought the market bottomed, took a little heat but ended up huge, both triple leverage ETF's that spiked from people panicking, both get crushed over time, this market is the easiest market since 2008.
While im 100% positive Obamacare repeal passes the house in the next couple weeks, i hope Ryan is incompetent enough to say hes bringing it to a vote again on monday, and that it doesnt happen again, it appears people, and the market are both dumb enough to react to this headline over and over and over even when there is nothing new. It takes time to pass legislation, this isnt even newsworthy, look at the struggle dems had passing obamacare, at one point Pelosi even claimed it was dead, thankfully she was probably the brain dead idiot buying GDX, and GLD, TVIX, UVXY, and more than likely HTGM at the dead highs today.
Free money everywhere, market has not provided this kind of opportunity since 2008, reminds me of the day the market tanked 10% on the refusal to pass TARP first time around, only to get passed within a couple days, and snap right back up, something everyone knew was going to happen. It is very rare market provides these kinds of opportunities, take advantage while you can.
As traders We should all be thanking Ryan for his incompetence, even though he is working hard to pass some turd of a bill that will inevitably replace ocare within a couple weeks.
