As I noted the NAACP lost their challenge in the legal process even though U.S. District Judge Loretta Biggs allowed their "emergency" motion for a few days until it was overturned. The voters were briefly reinstated before being purged again by another judge.

At noted in the article - "state data shows only a sliver of names have been removed from county rolls in the past two years - fewer than 7,000 statewide out of 6.8 million registered voters." This is a tiny percentage of the registered voters.

Judge Loretta Biggs said the right to vote "cannot be sacrificed when citizens through no fault of their own have been removed from the voter rolls."


She ordered the state to reinstate the registrations that were canceled, stop further purges of the registration lists, and make sure that voters denied an absentee ballot are given the option to get one or vote in person.

According to data compiled by the state, nearly 6,700 challenged voters were removed from registration lists in eight counties over the past two years. Most were in Cumberland County, which includes Fayetteville.

Why don't you read up on the court action after her ruling and educate yourself. Judge Loretta Biggs restored the 7000 voters to the registration rolls on Friday, November 4, 2016 after the NAACP claimed they were purged within 90 days of the election. Later legal filings revealed the truth that the latest any of the voters were purged was in March of 2016 -- well outside the 90 day period. In other words -- the NAACP lied in court.

The margin of victory is simple. After the 2008 election, democrats controlled the Presidency, the House, the Senate, the majority of state houses, the majority of governorships, then a guy name Hussein Obama and today it is a different story.

The method of purging is completely legal and is the method required by federal law. If the election commission sends you a post card and if it is returned as the occupant no longer being at the address then you are purged from the polls if no alternative address for you in the county can be found via a legal records search.
