“Nine states with a history of racial discrimination are more aggressively removing registered voters from their rolls than other states, according to a report released Friday,” NBC Newsreports.

“After reviewing voter purges nationally from 2012 to 2016, the nonpartisan Brennan Center for Justice found that the mostly Southern jurisdictions that had once been required to get changes to voting policies pre-approved by the Justice Department had higher rates of purging than jurisdictions that were not previously subject to pre-clearance.”

The reality is that there are more center to liberal leaning people left to their own devices as it were. If they don't suppress, they can't win.

When each side genuinely campaigned on local issues things were still ok despite southern voter suppression being notable. Then Newt Gingrich came along and the "Republican Revolution" of 1994 ruined everything with a one-size-fits-all propagandist dirge. Fox was created to exploit this and took off in the Clinton BJ "scandal", simpler times.

The left is constantly fighting with each other, conducting purity tests and waiting for the perfect candidate because they hate defending anyone who is not picture perfect. They got rid of Al Franken for a photo and lies from Roger Stone paid scum.

Yet they fail to mention that Federal law requires regular review and purging of voter registration lists.
 
Vote fraud has become an important tool for dems. They use the old standards of voting dead people and multiple voting in multiple precincts. Now they have the even more threatening weapon of millions of illegals voting in states that require no ID.

Then there are the recount scandals. How many close elections have republicans lost on shady recounts? One of the more notorious was Al Franken's senate win, a win that allowed obamacare to pass. There have been plenty more. Typically they hold back returns from heavily dem districts until they know how many votes will be needed, then miraculously that number of votes are "found. "

Like a lot of seemingly crazy positions dems take, opposing proper vetting of voters is based on pure political self-interest. They know that adequate vetting of voters makes it much harder to bus illegals around and let them vote numerous times. So if you support vote integrity, expect to get the full slime treatment from the dem/media hate machine.
