Now cowardly republicans have surrendered to pressure to ban the display of the Mississippi state flag, which ...trigger warning here....contains a tiny version of the Confederate flag. No doubt Members and visitors felt "unsafe" inside the Capitol and were alarmed that the flag's presence presaged reinstitution of slavery.
