republican senator: religious nutters turned women off to voting republican.

someone gets it. the republican party has to kick out the religious right to remain viable:

Sen. Hutchison: Akin ‘Tainted The Party’
Retiring Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX) said that Todd Akin's "legitimate rape" comment turned women off of the Republican Party, during an appearance on CNN's "Starting Point" Thursday.

Comments from candidates like Akin "really tainted the party," Hutchison said, explaining the gender gap that helped Democrats win Tuesday night. "I think it's the feeling that Republicans don't get it."

Hutchison said the GOP needed to "fashion a party around the economics and the longterm viability of the economy for our country." When it comes to the gender gap and how Republicans talk about women, she said, "we definitely have to address this issue."

That was just the tip of the iceberg. There were a lot of other issues as well.
not in the senate. republicans flipped 3 seats that should have been easy wins because their candidate was a religious nutcase talking about legitimate rape or pregnancy from rape is a gift from god ect.

Lets be more specific here you mean unintelligent and or poorly informed women voters.
You disagree with the senator?

Same issue.

Ok, done. To serve your ideology you're happily, proudly even, inconsistent.

And until they expel the conservatives, the GOP will be plagued by this. It works in Alabama, but not in the whole of the USA
