Republican Party Favorability Sinks to Record Low

Quote from Ricter:

Sure, I follow you. If other people's views are contrary to yours, then they're probably fat, lazy, worthless people anyway.

Correct me if I'm wrong .... but 2/3 of the people in the US are overweight or obese. How did they get that way? Eating fast food, all you can eat buffets and most likely not exercising. Last I knew 2/3 is well over 50%.

And those facts remain true when the people express views you agree with.

47% pro dem
24% pro rep

If you balanced that poll out using the last election their should only be a 6 or 7 point difference between the 2 groups.

So in short...
that is one lying poll.

Quote from Ricter:

Today got worse for the GOP (thanks, tea party).

NBC/WSJ poll: Shutdown debate damages GOP
By Mark Murray, Senior Political Editor, NBC News

"The Republican Party has been badly damaged in the ongoing government shutdown and debt limit standoff, with a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll finding that a majority of Americans blame the GOP for the shutdown, and with the party’s popularity declining to its lowest level.

"By a 22-point margin (53 percent to 31 percent), the public blames the Republican Party more for the shutdown than President Barack Obama – a wider margin of blame for the GOP than the party received during the poll during the last shutdown in 1995-96.

"House Speaker John Boehner of Ohio departs the Capitol in Washington, Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, en route to the White House to a meeting with President Barack Obama.

"Just 24 percent of respondents have a favorable opinion about the GOP, and only 21 percent have a favorable view of the Tea Party, which are both at all-time lows in the history of poll."

It's funny how the democrats always seem to come out ahead in these polls when they over sample democrats and ask them who they blame when the republicans won't send a 'clean' cr to the president.

Hehe.

And here we go again with the "skewed" polls. I'm sure the rep party is exactly where they planned and hoped to be!

Why not use the periods after a systemic banking crisis? None of the presidents had to deal with such an episode.

The fed plowed reserves into banks and nobody wanted to borrow it.

It's not the banks fault that obama has a catastrophic unemployment problem.
