Manchin says he won't support corporate tax hike to 28 percent
“As the bill exists today, it needs to be changed,” Manchin told Hoppy Kercheval, the host of West Virginia Metro News’s “Talkline” show.

"If I don't vote to get on it, it's not going anywhere," he added.

Manchin said other Senate Democrats are also concerned about Biden’s proposal to raise the corporate tax rate from 21 percent to 28 percent.

“It’s more than just me, Hoppy," Manchin added. "There’s six or seven other Democrats who feel very strongly about this. We have to be competitive, and we’re not going to throw caution to the wind.”
 
So, a principled Democrat who cares about his contituents is suddenly, a Republican because he will not support Socialist policies that will result in huge job losses? Sounds like a patriot to me. Here4BS up for more BS as usual. You do not mention raising the corporate tax rate from 21% to 28% will result is loss of good paying jobs as they are outsourced to cheaper countries with lower tax rates? Seriously, you are too much of an imbecile to understand simple economics. Not counting the fact that raising corporate taxes will only raise the prices of most goods and services. Who pays for those goods and services? Consumers, of course, that includes you fool.

Good ole Joe Manchin wondering around in the Woods contemplating the meaning of life while the rest of the world is trying to get something done. We’ll see how this gets done.

Joe Biden put Manchin’s wife, Gayle, on the Appalachian Regional Development Commission, or some alphabetical variant thereof, and it’s her job to steer the federal money.

Now is this exactly clean? No. Will Joe have to lie down every night with Gayle and explain where the economic development money for Appalachia is? Yes.
