If another nations military was hunting for terrorists and they accidentally blew up your house, with your family in it, what would you do about it?

I think this thread pretty much establishes that you support the concept of war, rather vehemently. You've attempted to make the case that we should wage constant war. Now, prove I am wrong about you. What branch of the military did you serve with?

See, if you didn't actually serve, and you want others to go to war for you, you are, in fact, a chickenhawk. In other words, it means you are a coward for not having the courage of your convictions.

And yet you felt the need to respond. IN all fairness, I'd go with your word on it...did you ever serve in the military? Your reluctance to answer is in fact an answer and it proves my point nicely. Those who have served, like me for example, tend not hide the fact that they've served. However, I'll allow for the fact that you are simply very strange...did you ever serve in the military (there will be follow up questions if you say yes)?

I've served our nation and been to many of the countries we are discussing. I think that gives me an inside track to understanding what we are talking about. I'm not asking for your dd214. A simple yes or no will suffice (with follow up questions to see if you know what you are talking about). Either you have served, in which case your warmongering is slightly more acceptable, if not wrongheaded, or, you haven't served, and you are nothing but a chicken hawk.
