Report from the Mississippi bridge collapse

I find it completely conceivable AAA - for several of the reasons that you mention. This was not just a single section that dropped. I'm still not sure that they won't find something sabatoge related, but I'll just keep listening.

PS: not parody in case anyone wonders.

Quote from AAAintheBeltway:

Is it so inconceivable that terrorists might have had a hand in a major bridge collapsing at rush hour with traffic stopped on it from end to end? Witnesses described hearing a loud boom, followed by the collapse. I understand the govenment had rated it as structurally deficient but they allowed it to be used and apparently a huge number of older bridges are so rated. What I found odd was that it collapsed from one end to the other. I could understand one section collapsing, but every single section of this thing went down. It is a rather long bridge but most of it is over land. It was built on trusses, so it was not a suspension bridge. I could see a catostrophic failure of a suspension bridge causing the entire span to go down, but this bridge was built in sections.

What I fear now is a govenrment coverup similar to the one they did after that TWA flight blew up leaving JFK and multiple witnesses reported seeing a missile trail tracking it.

Oh, I don't think so. They had 2 lanes closed for repair work, had massive number of cars, big boom when it first dropped, then connectors probably failed and pulled down other sections.

But then again, who the heck knows. AAA's airplane and missile is still one of the weirdest things in recent history.

Initial 'Rat Central' Report

On bridge witnesses report that "everything just *exploded* without warning" as the bridge collapsed.

Minnesota is clearly too cold for steel structures to collapse on their own in this manner.

Wael is reporting that a vanload of Israelis watched from the banks of the river as the bridge collapsed. I believe him cause he has experience with this sort of report.

Firefighters are reporting that "it just looks like a *bomb* went off".

www.35wTruth.com has clearly demonstrated that the Bush Administration had at least prior knowledge and most likely collapsed the bridge to justify tomorrow mornings invasion of Iran.

All jews in Minneapolis took the day off today so as not be caught in the collapse and related traffic issues.

Never in history has a bridge of this size and scope collapsed in this manner, therefore it couldn't have happened without the combined efforts Bush, the Mossad and every other Zionist on the planet.

The official explanation of this tragedy is complete and total BS and anyone who believes it is a gullible moron.

We'll keep you posted on all the details well before they develop.

Rat Central Out.

You really think that's true? Kill Americans to justify killing others?

No, I don't believe that, but others on this thread (the spoofed) do.

The lack of information on this one always annoyed me.

I thought this was quite poignant, from today's Paul Harvey broadcast. I'm pretty sure that Mr. Harvey is certainly not a left/liberal, quite the contrary.
(paraphrasing)

$250 million needed desperately in Minnesota, but we can't afford it, we spend all the money in Iraq. $30 billion for Israel weaponry, but no money for Minnesota.

As I mentioned in another thread, when is our government going to start working for the U.S. citizens again? I have no problem with helping Israel, and lending a hand to other countries in case of a natural catastrophe or something, but spending our money and lives in the middle of centuries old religous feud drives me crazy.

Why is a local bridge the responsibility of the federal government? I'm not defending the money we have wasted in Iraq, but subsidizing everything from Washington is part of the problem, not the solution.
